The themes of this release are incremental improvements, including the initial release of Business Rule Viewer.

Deployment

  • OneStream strongly recommends an Uninstall UI.

  • Use OneStream platform version 6.2.0 or later with this version of Administrator Solution Tools.

New Features and Enhancements

  • The Business Rule Viewer dashboard allows you to view all current and historical versions of Business Rules. (MP3-264)

  • The Member Formula Viewer dashboard allows you to view all current and historical versions of Member Formulas. (MP3-91)

  • The Business Rule and Member Formula Historical grids show all updates made to business rules or member formulas within a specified day range. The grids have grouping capabilities, and you can select any record in the grid to view that version of the selected business rule or member formula. (MP3-67)

  • In the Global Settings, Administrators can specify access to the Business Rule Viewer (for administrators only) (MP3-98)

Changed

  • The Types to Clear settings in the Log Cleaner are set to No by default, and changing any of these settings to Yes then displays the Execute button to clear logs based on the settings. (MP3-44)

  • The Dimension Library or Business Rule page opens in a new dashboard tab when launched from the Business Rule Viewer. This is new functionality specific to the Business Rule Viewer. (MP3-205)

  • The Log Cleaner uses parentheses instead of brackets when writing an error description in the error log, allowing records to be properly deleted. (MP3-574)

Fixed

  • When creating a formula using the Member Formula Builder, a blank formula check is done before the formula is saved, which ensures that the platform Dimension Library contains no blank formulas. (MP3-579)

  • In the Logs by Date tab of the Log Cleaner - Log Analysis page, the Logon Activity correctly displays in a single column. (MP3-607)

Known Issues

  • When selecting a preview in Home Page Manager, solutions that contain multiple embedded dashboards may not display. This issue only occurs in the OneStream browser version. The OneStream Application for Windows displays all preview pages as normal. (13607)

  • Business Rules that are more than 29,000 lines can only be viewed in the Business Rules section, allowing you to view the current version of that Business Rule. (MP3-536, MP3-587)
